19 workers laid off
PA ’ Auckland Nineteen workers will" be laid off by Christmas at Crown Lynn Potteries. Ltd. New Lynn, joining the 20 who lost jobs a month’ ago. Fourteen workers at the New Lynn factory and a | ■ further five at, -Titan Potteries. Ltd, Takanini, have now been given notice. The redundancies -will take effect on December 22. < ; . The Crown<Lynn operations ’ manager, Mr R. B. - Humphrey, said that the same reasons applied to the latest iob losses — a "sick” Australian market and the’ economic situation in gens eral.
