PA Wellington Proposals for a new land transport licensing system will be studied by the' Government caucus on Thursday. It was considered by the Cabinet yesterday. The Prime Minister. Mr Muldoon, said the proposals were not yet in legislative form. “W’e are still talking about details." Asked if legislation would be introduced in the House before the end of the year so that it could, be studied by a select committee during the Parliamentary recess, Mr Muldoon said: “I suppose there is still a prospect.” Mr Muldoon and the Minis-

ter of Transport. Mr Gain met the chairman of the Railways Corporation. Mr Lyndsay Papps, last week to discuss the effects of land transport deregulation on the Railways. The corporation has opposed the deregulation package prepared by Mr Gair and his caucus committee which would remove the 150 km competition limit on road transport.
