Court clerks for trial
PA Wellington Four Wellington court clerks charged with conspiring to prevent the course of justice were committed to the High Court for trial on February 7 at the end of a depositions hearing before Judge D. B. Pain yesterday. The four are Linda Anne
MeQuade, aged 24. clerk (represented by Mr W. Gendall); David John Thompson, aged 26. clerk (Mr T. Olphert); Michael Peter Waluszewski. aged 25. clerk (Mr D. Deacon): Kevin Joseph McGlinchey, aged 24. clerk (Mr B. O'Donnell). They are. jointly charged that on diverse dates between and inclusive of June
22. 1981. and August 7. 1982. they conspired to prevent or defeat the course of justice bv interfering with proper court procedures in relation to minor offence notices filed by the Minister of Transport iii court in respect of each other and other persons. -They were released on $5OO bail. ■ '.
