The work is considered suitable for a helicopter fitted with motorised spreader. The equipment must be capable of distributing small amounts of materials accurately from the air. Tenderers must submit a price per machine working hour and this price must include any positioning charges. The operation is to be completed by December 22, 1982. The contract will be on the standard New Zealand Forest Service form FS D 43 which must be signed within 14 days of acceptance of tender and before work commences.
