Its objectives and professionally established plans now cover both the short term (e.g. substantial investment in new plant to increase productivity) and long term (e.g. diversification, new venture projects, progression to public company standing). The Corporate Finance Manager will participate in the development of investment proposals and corporate strategies and will be responsible for arranging the necessary funding. This will require close liaison with major lenders in NZ and several overseas trips each year to research and negotiate off shore sources. Obviously the incumbent will enjoy the complete trust of the Chief Executive in exercising the associated autonomy and decision-making.
