The painting, by John Brasell, was presented by the Christchurch Home Trust Board in recognition of the company’s generosity to the home over the last 42 years, a link started by the late Mr Ernest Adams, the founder of the firm and the father of the present managing director. At the presentation, it was said of Mr Ernest Adams that he had two loves in life, children and photography.
