Monsanto —v [Conservation] Tillage, [ Award v 1983 This award is sponsored by Monsanto New Zealand Limited to encourage and develop the professional skills of the New Zealand farmer in Conservation Tillage farming systems. Awards will be made in three categories: 1. The establishment of wheat, barley;peas, maize arid other, .cash crops. 2. The establishment of fodder and greenfeed crops such as swedes, turnips, kale, oats or tama. 3. The establishment of new pasture where existing-native or run-out pasture previously existed. ■The three major award winners will be given an all expenses paid holiday for two to Surfers Paradise. Also, up to fifteen regional award winners will receive 20 litres of Roundup® herbicide. . Entry forms and full details of the awards can be obtained from suppliers of Roundup herbicide or from Monsanto and > Shell Agriculture representatives.
