New job for Mr Taiboys
PA • Wellington The former Deputy Prime Minister, Mr Brian Taiboys, will take up a post as fellow in public policy at Victoria University of Wellington next year. He will join the academic staff part-time to teach in the master of public policy degree course and work with the university’s business administration department on export and marketing policies.
The university’s ViceChancellor, Dr lan Axford, said that Mr Taiboys had had a long association with production and marketing policies related to the livestock industries and with the development of policies to encourage manufactured exports. Mr Taiboys will succeed his former Parliamentary colleague, Sir John Marshall, who has been a visiting fellow in public policy at the university since 1975.
