Supply cut
Fresh offal has not been available to butchers buying from the Christchurch abattoir this week because the company which owns the abattoir, Ashley Meat Processors, is waiting for Ministry of Agriculture approval for the new offal rooms. A spokesman for the company said that approval was expected by Monday. Supplies are available from. other meat-processing companies.
