The Peter Kane-trained Arkarita showed her true ability with a brilliant frontrunning win in the $3OOO final of the Classique Cottages New Zealand greyhound championship at the Christchurch Greyhound Racing Club’s meeting at , Queen Elizabeth II Park last evening < ■.. ■' Clearing the boxes, considerably faster than she bad in her? semi-final race last week, she soon assumed control and although hotly challenged over the closing stages by Little Upstart, she was able to retain a head advantage to the line.
