Mighty Me looks top chance in championship
By
G. K. YULE
Mighty Me is expected to reinstate himself as one of the country’s leading three-year-old pacers with a win in the Courier Systems Championship at Addington Raceway this evening. This race, the first leg of the T.A.B. treble, has attracted a high-class field and betting will be well spread. Mighty Me won the Waikouaiti Three-year-old Stakes at the end of October. He finished sixth in a C 5 race On November 9 and .eighth, from 20m, in a race for his own age on the second day of the Cup meeting/W.can sprint and stay and even from the second line, , he looks a top chance. Last Beason’s leading two-
Lyndon Robert, should have benefited greatly from the race he had on the first day of the meeting. He did not run on quite as well as expected when seventh to Bee El, but he was obviously in need of the run. Nostradamus, a winner on the second day of the - meeting, should be an improver. He had not raced
since April ana can be expected to show sharp improvement as a result of the race. Braedoon and Borana have shown ability above average and both should be right in the thick of the finish, while forward showings are likely from Crafty Admiral and Matai Skipper, both of which have shown great potential.
