Admiral makes N.Z. visit
PA Auckland The chairman of the Japanese Defence Agency, Admiral Tsugio Yata, visited naval and Army establish-, ments in Auckland this week as part of his “familiarisation” tour of New Zealand. The admiral, accompanied by two other Japanese officers, inspected the Devonport naval base and later flew to Army barracks at Papakura. Sydney last evening.
