$28M loss
NZPA Zurich Alusuisse, one of the world’s leading aluminium producers, says that it expects increased losses this year after Iqsing over $2B million in 1981. The Swiss company, which accounts for about 5 per cent of world aluminium , production, said its sales had dropped between 4 and 6 per cent this year because of persistently depressed prices for the metal and inflated stocks.
