Sir,—The George Manning House Trust Board recently held a fair which was the start of a fund-raising campaign to establish a day-care centre in the Spreydon area. The fair raised over $l9OO, a very good start for a worthy project. The board thanks the public for the considerable support received from all those interested in the home and throughout the Christchurch area.
