Mr John Gale has been appointed South Island manager for Progeni, the software and systems house. He is based in Christchurch. Mr Gale leads a consultant team offering a range of computer services including representation of Poly, the learning support system, and Progeni’s industrial control systems. Mr Gale was for five years a Christchurch-based EDP consultant with the Health Department. In over 16 years with the EDP industry, Mr Gale has spent much of the period with British firms. There, his jobs included those of programmer, analyst and project manager.;
