Last stop at Chch
Passengers disembarking at Christchurch Airport yesterday afternoon from the last Air New Zealand DCIO to visit the airport on a scheduled commercial flight. ZK-NZR, Air New Zealand’s last remaining DCIO, arrived in Christchurch from Sydney at 3.45 p.m. with 221 passengers. The aircraft left for Auckland at 5.40 p.m. In its last few days of service with the airline, ZK-NZR will fly return services from Auckland to Perth, Brisbane, Rarotonga, and Hong Kong, finishing on Tuesday. ney will change in frequency from three flights each week to two, although by using Boeing 747 aircraft the number of seats available to Sydney each week wil rise by 30.
