Arts Centre market
The Arts. Crafts and Antiques Market will open at the Arts Centre on Saturday, November 6. The 1982-83 market will have 43 stalls, including a charity stall that will change charities each week.
A new coffee shop on site, a tarot card reader, a shoeshine man and a portrait artist will probebly be a few of the market’s adcled attractions, according to the Arts Centre’s director, Mr Ray Sleeman. The stalls will feature antiques. pottery, paintings, jewellery, leather, herb products. silverware, .homespun jerseys, woodcraft, skin products, cane, weaving, spinning. clothes, screen printing, soft toys, health foods, glass and house plants — to name but a few.
