Adult Adoption Information Bill
Sir, — Congratulations to Mr P. R. Burdon on his approach to the Adult Adoption Information Bill. He is showing an enlightenment previously only displayed locally by Ruth Richardson. Of other members of Parliament I have written to, one has “noted my comments” another will be voting according to “past experience as a barrister,” and yet another will be "praying for guidance.” Members of Parliament are where they are to reflect the opinions of their constituents, not to bury their heads in the sand, live in the past, or pass the buck, which is how I interpret the above. — Yours, etc.,
JUNE PEKA. October 25, 1982.
