Copies sought
Sir,—The Alexander Turnbull Library has over the last few months been obtaining from various sources copies of the periodical, "Triad." which was the major Australasian periodical for music, art, literature and science for 18931927. This periodical is a most useful research source and it is the library’s intention to arrange for the compilation of a comprehensive index to the “Triad" which will extend its usefulness and ease of access to researchers. Because of fine co-operation of libraries, various institutions and individuals, our holdings are now almost complete with only 30 issues still missing out of several hundred. These are odd issues between the years 1899 and 1906, and volume 34 number 6 (October, 1926). We would appreciate knowing if there are copies held privately which could either be donated to the library or lent for copying so this project can proceed.
