Pumpkin lights

Pumpkin lights are a favourite for Halloween and they are simple to make. Find a large sound pumpkin — the big orange ones are the best. Carefully cut the top out in a small circle. Keep this as you will need it later. Scoop out the pumpkin pulp from inside and keep it as you can use it to make a pumpkin pie from the recipe on this page. Cut two triangle shapes for eyes and another for a nose in the empty pumpkin shell. Then cut a row of teeth for a mouth. Be careful not the split the pumpkin shell or to cut yourself. When it is dark place a candle in the empty shell and light it. Put the top of the pumpkin back on as a lid and you will have a pumpkin lantern.
