Crossing accident
Two elderly persons were taken to Christchurch Hospital last evening when they were struck by a car on a pedestrian crossing at the junction of Ferry Road and Smith Street. Both suffered moderately serious injuries in the accident, soon after 10 p.m. A third person who was narrowly missed by the car was also taken to hospital
