Concern for safety of patient
The Christchurch police are concerned for the safety of a Sunnyside Hospital patient who has been missing since Wednesday. Mr James Joseph Wall, aged 58, was last seen when he got out of a car and walked away. He had been feeling depressed, the police sajd. Mr Wall is a European, 170 cm (sft 7in) tall, of slim build, with greying blond hair. He was wearing a yellow T-shirt, grey trousers, and fawn corduroy shoes. Anyone who might have seen Mr Wall, or might know of his whereabouts, should get in touch with the police immediately.
