COLLEGE DAIRY FARM FIELD DAY Tuesday, October 26,10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Irrigation and the recent expansion of irrigation systems on the College Dairy unit will be a major topic. Also included will be cow nutrition and pasture improvement. WHEAT 'B2 FIELD DAYS Incorporating the ICI Tasman Wheat Growing Award 1 & 2 December, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (both days) Inspect the eight competition plots. Discuss wheat growing techniques with the competitors. Inspect the 25 commercial exhibits, many including trial and demonstration plots. Plan to attend New Zealand's biggest single cereal event. There will be an opportunity for an escorted walk over the College Cropping Farm on both days.
