Owens complaint rejected
PA Wellington The Law Society has dismissed a complaint from Air New Zealand’s chairman. Mr R. A. Owens, against Social Credit’s spokesman < on justice, Mr Martin Hine. The finding has been revealed by Mr Hine, a Napier lawyer. Mr Hine said the complaint had been disallowed by the society's lay observer, Mr Bryce Jones of Hast-
ings. It had been referred to a lay observer when Mr Owens declined to accept the original ruling of the society's complaints investigation committee, that the complaints had no foundation. “The complaint action had no basis at all and represented more a fit of pique and (Air New Zealand’s) refusal to accept reality," Mr Hine said.
