PA Auckland Papatoetoe clinched promotion to soccer's national league with an effortless 4-1 win against already-rele-gated Whangarei .on Saturday. Derek Lunt’s squad were loudly cheered off the pitch at Murdoch Park, but no
player deserved more praise than striker Colin Tuna, scorer of a first half hattrick. The win gives Papatoetoe the Country Foods League Championship over Ellerslie. Although both teams were equal on points. Papatoetoe’s goal difference was superior.
