On the mystery trail
The Amateur sleuths. Joe and Frank Hardy, will be back on the mystery trail with Nancy Drew in a new series of “The Hardy Boys Nancy Drew Mysteries” beginning tomorrow on Two at 6.30. In part one of a two-part storv. “Mystery of the Hollywood Phantom." a detective convention in Hollywood turns into a nightmarish
puzzle when participants disappear at a film studio where Nancy Drew is attacked by a phantom figure. Nancy’ and the famous criminologist, Arlo Wetherly, find mutilated photographs of themselves along with threatening messages — nothing unusual for baddietrappers you may think — but when Wetherly disappears as predicted it
seems that something more than a prank is afoot. Parker Stevenson and Shaun Cassidy star as Frank and Joe Hardy respectively, with Pamela Sue Martin as Nancy Drew. Edmund Gilbert plays Fenton Hardy with J. D. Cannon guest starring as Jason Fox and James Wainwright making a special appearance as Arlo Wetherly.
