Bridge men still out
Eighty workers on the Mangere bridge remained on strike yesterday: after an early-morning meeting called to consider their next move in a dispute with the Fletcher Construction Company. The company and the unions say they are prepared' to meet to try to resolve the dispute, about the claimed non-payment of a $2.50 allowance to a carpenters' union site delegate for work in a confined, space.
