High speed death
NZPA-Reuter Milan Four-times world speedboat racing champion. Guido Caimj, of Italy, died after a high-speed collision with another boat during, a world championship event near Milan yesterday. The accident happened soon after the start of the
first of the competition’s four races at Lake Idroscalo, when Caimi was travelling at 200 km/h and his boat ran into one driven by another Italian. Caimi, aged 41. was world champion four times, European champion nine times and champion of Italy 10 times.
