Pedestrian killed
A young woman died after she was struck by a car onthei Main South Road at Rolleston on Saturday evening. She was Wendy Iris Dawson, aged 18. of Dunsandel. A man was taken to Christchurch Hospital with moderate head injuries, after his motor-cycle and a car collided on the Main North
Road near Amberley abput 6 p.m. yesterday. His n'dme and condition were unavailable last evening. A motor-cyclist was killed when he. struck an electricity transformer at .Milford, Auckland, about 5.35 p.m. on Saturday. He was Eion Robert Turnbull, aged ‘22; a naval rating, of Devonport.
