NZPA Atlantic City The South African heavyweight boxer. Gerrie Coetzee unleashed a barrage of righthand punches and beat an American. Stan Ward, in the second round of a scheduled
10-round contest. Coetzee improved his record to 28-3 with 16 knockouts. "Coetzee is the hardest puncher in the heavyweight division and most contenders are ducking him." said the promoter. Bob Arum.
