Exemption for mission
The Christchurch InterChurch .Trade and Industry MiSsipff' whs one of 14 suc-cessful-applicants for exemption front the price freeze on hardship grounds for the week to September 1. Twenty-two hardship applications were received, four were declined, one was withdrawn, and 14 approved. The mission applied for an
increase in chaplaincy service fees of 67c an hour. The Wellington mission successfully applied for-an, increase, of 54c an hour. Airsail, Ltd (Auckland), which manufactures model kitsets, was allowed an average increase of 19 per cent and McSkimming Industries (Dunedin) was allowed to increase bathroomware prices 3 per cent.
