Tramper found
PA Rotorua A Rotorua tramper, Fiona Gibson, aged 21, was found wet but unharmed yesterday afternoon after spending three nights lost in bush in the Kaimanawa Ranges near Turangi. Miss Gibson, a Forest Service employee, was spotted from the air at 12.20 p.m. and reached soon,- after by two searchers on' foot. She was,lifted out by helicopter. She was warmly clad for what was intended to be a two-day tramp, and had an extra day’s food.
