Canty B maintains record
The Canterbury B rugby team maintained . its unbeaten record this season when it ? beat Canterbury Maoris, 31-8, at Linfield Park on Sunday. The Maoris were without one or two of their best players, but Canterbury B still played well and the match was a solid preparation for the B's last, firstclass match of the season, against Nelson Bays at Nelson next Sunday. Tries for Canterbury B were scored by lan Mather, Rick Gibson, Steve Hansen and Andrew McMaster (2). Hansen kicked a dropped goal and McMaster converted four, of the tries.
