Witnesses sought
Witnesses are sought by the Ministry of Transport to an accident in which a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Lincoln Road early on Friday evening.. Graham Robert Tyro, aged 25, of 18 Sylvan Street, Hillmorten, suffered serious chest and leg injuries in the
accident, which occurred north-east of Sylvan Street about 6.55 p.m. The vehicle was a latemodel yellow Toyota Landcruiser. Mr Tyro was reported to be in a comfortable condition in Princess Margaret Hospital yesterday.
