PA : Napier In an exciting game of basketball. Auckland beat Canterbury. 61-51. to win the final of the National junior women’s tournament in Napier. Auckland, which had > a very tight offensive and
defensive game, led 31-28 at half-time. The Canterbury captain. Sue Bennett, was fouled off seven minutes before the end of the game and this did not help her side's chances.
