Netball team start well
PA Wellington Canterbury were determined to retain their title yesterday in the Rufflette national under-20 netball championships at the Yalta courts. "Having held the title for the four previous years, the last in partnership with Waikato, Can-
terbury did well to win both matches on the opening day. Canterbury had a narrow win over Hutt Valley 32-24. having been only one goal ahead at halftime. The Cantabrians however, were far more disciplined in accounting for Canterbury Country 52-17 in their second game.
