Rugby upset
PA Dunedin Three goals by Peter Cook enabled North Otago to gain an upset 9-4 win over Buller in a second division rugby match yesterday. It was North Otago’s first win in 26 months and 29 games. Buller, which won the toss and played with the advantage of a strong northerly wind, scored its try after 16 minutes. North Otago won the match in the last 15 minutes of the first half and the first 15 minutes of the second, when the backs defended stoutly and attacked eagerly from broken play.
