Dog mauled 15 lambs
A sheepdog is thought to have killed 15 stud Corriedale lambs on a farm near Cheviot last week. It was first thought that the lambs, found dead on the property of Mr D. A. Sloss, at the bottom end of Leamington Valley, had been shot
with a high-power rifle from the roadside. A veterinary examination of some of the carcases revealed no sign of gunshot wounds but indicated that the lambs had been mauled by a dog.
