MT THOMAS FORESTS WRITTEN tenders are invited from experienced aerial contractors for the following work within Ashley and Mt Thomas Forests. Area 1: 90 hectares of aerial desiccant spraving of gorse within Mt Thomas State Forest. Area 2: 183 hectares of aerial release spraying of P. radiata within Ashley State Forest. The work is suited only to helicopter operations. The work will be performed on an hourly basis. Tenders must quote as follows: (a) hourly hire rate of machine with any positioning fee to be shown separately (b) Estimated number of hours to complete work. Operations to commence from September 10.1982 and be completed by October 1, 1982. Water and chemicals will be provided but the contractor shall be responsible for mixing and loading. The contract will be on the standard FSD43 form which must be signed within 14 days of acceptance of tender and before work commences.
