Man in the mask: a heavily-bandaged Danny Millward attempts to fend off a Hornby forward, Ross Taylor, while another defender, Gary McLauchlan (No. 9), also moves in to tackle during the rugby league championship preliminary final at the Show Grounds last Saturday. Millward had his right cheek bone broken the previous week, but courageously served as a replacement against Hornby. His injury will now have plenty of time to recover. Hornby was an 18-8 winner and will oppose Addington in the grand final on Sunday.
