Tramper flown out
A Christchurch tramper was flown out from the Ada Hut in the Lewis Pass' area yesterday morning suffering from an infected foot. Amanda Munro, aged 22, of Bealey Avenue, was treated at the Reefton Hospital and discharged. She had been tramping on the St James walkway. Other trampers told the police at Reefton on Thursday night that Miss Munro was unable to complete the trip. A private helicopter brought her out about 7.30 ■ a.m. yesterday.
