N.Z. wines win medals
PA Wellington Corbans has been awarded 13 gold medals in wine competitions at Ljubljana, Yugoslavia, the company said. These included six grand gold medals, the highest award presented at the competition. Corbans had only
won one grand gold award before, the company said. The six wines to win the top medal had all been produced in commercial quantities and one, Bin 27 Riesling Sylvaner, was a top-selling export wine, Corbans said. Thirteen silver medals were also won by the company at the competition.
