Save that plastic bottle
If your primary school child starts saving plastic soft drink bottles, don’t be surprised. He or she could have read a booklet called, “Empty P.E.T. Bottles Can Be Useful.” Fifteen thousand copies of the booklet have been distributed to primary schools throughout New Zealand, said the Minister of Education (Mr Wellington). P.E.T. (polythylene teraphthalate) bottles have a number of uses for students and hobbyists, says the booklet, which is produced by the Education Department and Coca-Cola Products.
