An international jury yesterday dismissed a protest against the second-placed Dunhill Australia team yacht, Hitchhiker, which could have cost the team any chance of retaining the international ocean racing series. As it is, the Australian team faces a tough task to cut the 94-point lead established by the United States Blue team, which has amassed 1450 points in the four races so far sailed.New Zealand’s team has 1302 points. In . equal third place on 1319 points are the United States White team and the Victorian state team, which has lifted from fifth in team standings.
