I — RICCARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER - REVIEW OF BASIS OF ELECTION NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the Riccarton Borough Council held on June 28. 1982 the following special order resolution was passed: That having considered the matter in accordance .with Section 56 of the Local Government Amendment Act it is herebv resolved that the basis of the' 1.983 Elections shall be: (a) By the Electors of the District as a whole. (b) That the number of members of the Council to be elected by the Electors of the district shall be eight 1 (excluding the Mayor).
