“The Lord has provided,” said Christchurch’s Bible Lady, Mrs Renee Stanton, yesterday after Hulstons Auction Rooms had presented her with a new violin to replace the one broken in
Cathedral Square on Tuesday. Mrs Stanton is shown trying out her new instrument as the manager of Hulston’s, Mr R. L. Leith, looks on.'
Mrs Stanton sadly misses the old violin, which she said had been given to her by missionaries in Canada 32 years ago. and she has vowed to get back from the Wizard a fragment of the smashed
