Blenheim’s new Mayor

Blenheim reporter Mr P. A. Taylor, the leading candidate in Saturday’s by-election for the mayoralty of Blenheim, has been confirmed as the town's new Mayor. His polling-day majority of 47 was increased to 106 after the completion of checks of rolls and the counting of 832 special votes late yesterday afternoon.
