Surgery for Brady
The Presidential Press Secretary, James Brady, has undergone "elective surgery” .but George Washington University Hospital officials refused to disclose the exact nature of the operation. Mr Brady, was "doing well and resting during a post-opera-tive period,” according to a hospital spokeswoman. Irene Haske. Mr Brady was shot in the brain by John Hinckley in the attempted assassination of President Ronald Reagan. - Washington. ■
