Parramatta and Manly-Warin-gah maintained their jbint lead in the Sydney rugby league premiership at the week-end. Manly by trouncing the hapless Canberra Raiders. However, Parramatta made rather heavier weather of beating Eastern Suburbs. Results:—St George 16. Newtown 5: Manly 61. Canberra 20: North Sydney 15. Cronulla 12: Parramatta 9.
