Jet boat rally sprint
Peter Munro drove consistently to. head off a.strong challenge- from Rod Harrison and win the final of the jet boat rallysprint held on the Waimakariri river. Harrison chalked up'faster lap times than his opponent during the five-lap elimination event but a spin-out at the top of the course'cost him any chance of a victory. - Munro's winning time was 2min 01.75.
